Hi All. We’ve been quiet for a while waiting to see how the tipping point on the 14th of November would play out. For one, I feel as if we are in the free-fall predicted… like going over the edge of a waterfall. Some of us have gone over, some of us can see it from where we swim, some are in active denial and somehow believe the tooth fairy will come to save them all.
We have decided to close our Soul and Spirit website for a number of reasons – not the least of which is wishing to disconnect from a system that exploits and corrupts.
For those that we have connected with through our store and workshops, we hope you will continue with us on this site. Please register so we can carry on a conversation of what’s going on in our world and within our Spiritual Community.
First Metaphysical Study Group 10.10.10
It is a fallacy of life – especially these days in the US – that we have to do it all alone. Not true. And a sure cure comes in finding the reassurance, comraderie and hope that comes from spending a few hours in the company of fellow travelers on this journey that is quickly becoming challenging.
The first Study Group explored the many reflections of imminent change, transformation, chaos and our belief and disbelief. The discussion moved from the abstract of how we each move forward by reading the reflections from our souls – the maps – to the personal stories of how it works in our lives. Examples of how we create from Fear – exactly what we fear; to how a subtle shift in emotions can create a whole different day.
Will the changes come from the political, geopolitical, sun shifts, a financial collapse, terra chifts or from outer space? We had our opinions. Early in the morning Josh had gotten a clue by reading an I-Ching divination online. It seemed right on ….so we ponied up to the computer and took our turns at our own questions. Conclusion; it doesn’t matter where you get your maps, clues, whispers as to how to move forward; just that you get them and take the next step, whatever that is for you.
Clearly the ‘tried and true’ systems and structures of safety of the consensus are faltering, crumbling and becoming so bizarrely a charactature of themselves as to be un-trustworthy. So, we navigate by our souls and their ready whispers of intuition, reflection and our CHOICE as who we wish to be. A future awaits us all, which will it be? Our tiniest of choices navigate and re-affirm our choices of future on a daily basis.
It was a pleasure and good fun to despite our varying opinions and imperfections – to find acceptance, understanding and good fun with each other. What else do we need?

Summary of Yesterdays Conversation with SOTU
Good morning all. Well, it looks as if we’ve hit the ground running with our return to presenting SOTU after a busy summer of preparation. We’ve done amazingly well this season with bumper crops of tomatoes, potatoes, onions, beans, beets, kale, lettuce, plus sawing wood, building a new woodshed and so much more. Now as harvesting and canning have an end in sight, it’s time for us to concentrate on the creation of a reality that holds the possibility of a new dawn of understanding, compassion and connection within a humanity that understands its connection with Mother Earth, with each other, and yes – if I may be so bold – the Divine… no matter what your concept of that may be.
Our new sight has alot of bells and whistles available to it and I will be improving on some of the presentations as we grow. The nice thing about this format is that it allows for comments on most of the posts, so please register and feel free to begin a conversation.
So, we will be instituting a Metaphysical Study Group, that will not necessarily be a channeling session – although many of you know how SOTU often will pop in when there’s something relevant to discuss. We will also be presenting SOTU through “Conversations” on a more regular basis.

Summary of 9/19/2010 Conversations with SOTU channeled by Josh
SOTU came through as easily and masterfully as ever even after our rather long hiatus. They began by saying something about “baiting the fish” but neither Adrienne or I have any clear memory of what they were talking about. Perhaps one of you who attended could comment.
SOTU spoke about sun disease and how the event that occurred on August 1st was unprecedented – a sun tsunami so to speak – and that even scientists were having difficulty understanding it because this type event had never happened before in human memory.
This brought up the subject of preparation for the upcoming changes, or prepping. Certainly SOTU did not seek to diminish the impact of the upcoming changes. They did say that the purpose of the whole movement was the reconnection of community. Basically what they were saying was Prepping + Purpose = Community.
They also spoke of how many more people were coming out with dire warnings of difficulty. For example, Tony Robbins.

They also offered information about their motivation and how they encourage us to grow. They will describe a seemingly dire circumstance that is likely to occur with great color and energy thereby evoking a certain emotional response from us. Some have asked why they need to frighten us? They responded with a question, “When you hear some of these dire predictions, don’t some of you respond with an exertion of will that says, NO – I do not wish for that to occur?” Made sense to me.

Maintaining Hope in the Midst of Change
As we approach the 9 year anniversary of 911 we offer you this possibility of hope.
“What’s it going to take to motivate you? What’s it going to take to move you to make your next step in growth?”
After 9/11 they asked, “Is this enough?” And, as we all thought it was in that moment – we were wrong. Why do we choose to use the negative to motivate us?
We are way beyond my ideas of how bad it could get. I’d never imagined the loss of truth, the loss of honor, the loss of rights and Right. And yet, even in the midst of such dark prospects, I am hopeful – perhaps even excited about our possibilities as individuals and as a species. Being the channel for SOTU, I also realize that on a personal level I am able to hold a bigger picture – a bigger picture that reveals a greater Truth.
And that truth is that we’re all on exactly the path we need to be on in order to move beyond the old picture; that old image we have of ourselves that makes us believe that we somehow have to compete with each other in order to survive.
I believe we are each experiencing a Divine Imperative transmitted to each of us directly through our Soul. That imperative is to Grow. Consciously, Spiritually, even Physically and Emotionally.
I was recently reading about Michael Moore’s movie SICKO. There’s a comment by a Frenchman, although it could just as easily have been said by a Canadian or Englishman or anyone that lives in a country that has Universal Healthcare, that “We take care of each other.” Doesn’t that simple statement say it all? It does to me.
The understanding and belief that comforts me as I face the impending changes - changes that I believe will so alter the fabric of our daily lives – is a belief that we are waiting for a “critical mass” of change that will shift the entire paradigm. We somehow live in a paradigm of competition and comparison, a sort of Darwinian model of “survival of the fittest” in most aspects of our societies and world.
The terms are so simple yet so fraught with meaning and possibility. I don’t think we’re being asked to move to a polarized position of me versus we. In fact, both have truth attached to them as well as their own lies. I believe that our movement, as individuals and as a species, is to understand the truth and lies of each polarity, allowing us to rise above the polarity to reach a real understanding of the truth. That truth is that we are individuals living together and therefore must come together in real and meaningful ways – physically, emotionally, spiritually – while not losing respect and understanding for our uniqueness and individuality. We are individual and we are collective – that is the simple truth of our Divine Nature.
The Divine energy of growth is moving us beyond evolution (unconscious growth), to a place where we must use our reasoning ability – which we’ve grown through the soup of evolution these many millenium through each of our incarnations – to observe and then respond to the real problems and opportunities that are so in our faces right now. This will be transformation in it’s truest terms.
Celebrate the changes. Ride the crest of the wave of chaos. And if you haven’t already answered the question of the millenium, please consider,
“WHO ARE YOU GOING TO BE? WHO WILL WE CHOOSE TO BE, BOTH AS AN INDIVDUALS AND AS A SPECIES?”

Welcome to our new website. Much of the old material will be uploaded shortly as well as a blog from Josh, SOTU, Adrienne and Audream to keep you up to date on our happenings. We are focusing more and more on shifting our reality to one of Peace with Enough for all.
